About Me

Hi, I’m Sofie — the personal trainer behind Stronger with Sofie — and I’m really glad you’re here.

My own fitness journey began in my mid‑twenties with group classes, but everything changed during the pandemic when I shifted to self‑guided HIIT workouts. Without proper coaching, I found myself returning to physiotherapy again and again, repeatedly picking up injuries, and feeling unsure of what my body needed. Working with a personal trainer genuinely changed things for me. I rebuilt my confidence, learned how my body should move, and finally felt comfortable navigating the gym.

But my biggest turning point came after a rotator cuff injury in 2024, followed by shoulder surgery in 2025, and elective foot surgery earlier this year. I spent almost two years in a training‑rehab limbo, feeling stuck, frustrated, and like I was constantly starting again.

And if you’re feeling anything like I did, I get it – I’ve been right where you are now.

Why Stronger with Sofie exists

What I offer

That’s why I chose to qualify as a personal trainer, with additional specialist training in Antenatal and Postnatal Exercise. My mission is to help you reduce your risk of injury, build physical and mental resilience, and feel confident in your own strength. I want women – during pregnancy, after birth, and beyond – to feel supported, empowered, and safe while training.

Outside of Level 3 PT life, I work full time in healthcare marketing and live in NW6 with my fiancé and our cat. I love reading, Hampstead Heath walks, sweet treats, and a good sauna and plunge session.

What I offer

You’ll get supportive, form-focused personal training designed to help you feel stronger, safer, and more confident – whether you are brand new to exercise, returning after injury, or navigating pregnancy or postpartum.

Fancy a chat about your goals?

FREE 30 minute consultation

You’ll get a relaxed, friendly chat where we talk through your goals, your training history, and what you’re hoping to achieve. No pressure, no commitment – just space for you to share, ask questions, and see if we’re the right fit.

Antenatal and Postnatal Personal Training

You’ll get safe, supportive training that adapts to how you’re feeling – whether you’re pregnant, newly postpartum, or rebuilding strength months or years later. We’ll focus on mobility, strength, pelvic floor awareness, and helping you feel confident in your changing body every step of the way.

1:1 Personal Training

You’ll get sessions designed entirely around you – your body, your confidence, your pace. Whether you want to build strength, improve posture, reduce injury risk, or feel more comfortable in the gym or outdoors, you’ll always feel supported and never out of your depth.

Small Group Training (max 3 people)

You’ll get 45‑minute small group sessions that feel personal, encouraging, and genuinely supportive. With a maximum of three women in a similar antenatal or postnatal stage at one time, you’ll have guidance, connection, and confidence – without ever feeling lost in a crowd.

One-off Movement and Posture Screen (45 minutes)

You’ll get a gentle, detailed assessment of how your body moves – posture, mobility, balance, and any areas where you might be compensating. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your body and how to train safely and confidently.

How we’ll work together.

Here’s what our journey will look like:

  • In person consultation & assessment
  • Your first 60 minute session
  • Weekly check ins and a two month review
Submit an enquiry

1

After completing the initial 30-minute consultation call, we’ll begin with an in‑person consultation and assessment, where we’ll take the time to understand your body and your goals properly. You’ll complete my extended physical activity readiness questionnaire (PAR‑Q), and we’ll move through static, dynamic, and postural assessments so I can see how you move and where you might need support.

This’ll give me everything I need to build a programme that feels safe, achievable, and genuinely tailored to you.

I always want you to leave each session feeling a little stronger, a little more capable, and genuinely proud of what you’ve done – and together we’ll build a clear picture of where we’re starting and where we’re going.

2

Your first exercise session will be a 60‑minute introduction to how we’ll train together – a warm‑up, your main workout, and a gentle cool down. Afterwards, I’ll share your personalised programme so you can feel confident practising between sessions too.

3

Each week, you’ll complete a short check‑in to let me know what’s feeling good, what’s challenging, and what might need adjusting. It’s a simple way for us to stay connected and make sure your training programme always meets you where you are.

After two months, we’ll sit down for a review either in-person, or online – whatever is more convenient for you. We’ll look at your progress, refresh your programme, and set new goals for the next phase – keeping your training moving forward in a way that feels supportive and sustainable.

Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

I offer 1:1 personal training, antenatal/postnatal training, small group sessions, and movement screens.

Where are you based?

London, NW6 and surrounding neighbourhoods.

How much does a session cost?

£60 per hour, with newly‑qualified discounts available.

Do you offer packages?

Yes – discounted bundles and direct debit options.

Is it safe to exercise during pregnancy?

Yes, it absolutely is, with the right guidance. I’m Level 3 qualified in antenatal and postnatal exercise and will tailor everything to your stage and needs.

How do I know you’re the right trainer for me?

Let’s chat. Your FREE consultation is the perfect place to find out.

What postnatal checks do I need before starting training?

You’ll need to be signed off by your GP or midwife before starting postnatal training — usually at 6 weeks after a non‑operative vaginal birth, or around 12 weeks if you’ve had a C‑section. If you’re dealing with pelvic floor symptoms or diastasis recti, we’ll move gently and tailor everything to support your recovery.

Can I bring my baby to sessions?

If you’re training at home, absolutely – your babies are always welcome. If we’re training outdoors or in a shared space, we can discuss what works best for you.

Do you work with clients experiencing diastasis recti or pelvic floor concerns?

Yes. I’m trained to support clients with abdominal separation, pelvic floor weakness, and postpartum recovery. We’ll move slowly, safely, and with confidence.

How do you adapt sessions for pregnancy symptoms (fatigue, nausea, SPD, etc.)?

Your comfort comes first. Every session is flexible – if you’re tired, we slow down. If you’re feeling energised, we’ll build strength. I’ll always adapt exercises to however you are feeling on the day, no problem at all.

What is a movement and posture screen?

A 45‑minute assessment where we look at how your body moves – posture, mobility, balance, and any compensations. It helps us understand what your body needs to train safely. You’ll learn how your body moves, where you may be overworking or underworking certain muscles, and how to improve posture and reduce injury risk.

Do I need a movement screen before starting personal training?

Not always — but it’s really helpful if you’ve had injuries, pain, or feel unsure about your movement patterns. It’s also a great option for people who are already gym‑savvy but feel something isn’t quite right and want support to improve it.

Which areas of NW6 do you cover?

Cricklewood, West Hampstead, Hampstead, Kilburn, Swiss Cottage, Queens Park, and St John’s Wood. If you’re nearby, just ask – I may be able to travel.

Do you offer block bookings or bundles?

Yes – I offer discounted bundles and newly‑qualified pricing for my first six months.

Do you offer discounts for multiple sessions per week?

Yes – multiple weekly sessions qualify for my newly‑qualified discounts.

How does the monthly direct debit work?

It’s simple: you choose the number of sessions per month, and the discounted rate applies automatically. We’ll go through everything during your consultation.

Do you work alongside physiotherapists or healthcare professionals?

Yes – I’m more than happy to collaborate with your physio or healthcare team to support your recovery and training.

What makes your approach different from other personal trainers?

I bring lived experience of injury, surgery, rehab, and rebuilding confidence – combined with antenatal/postnatal expertise and a posture‑first coaching style. My sessions will be supportive, safe, and tailored to your life.
